Living a healthy life
Living healthy is living happy. Our ability to work, to play, and rest are all founded on our health. When something is wrong with our health, the other aspects of our life usually suffer. That is why it is so important to live a healthy life.
My family has been though a lot, as I am sure you have as well, but we would like to share some of our health thoughts with you.
- Exercise. This can be fun and is definitely healthy. It doesn't need to be at a gym. (Although a gym is great.) There are plenty of other forms of exercise. Try a tai chi or yoga class; these are great for both guys and girls. Take up swimming or start walking regularly. If you're looking to lose weight try walking for 60-90min a day.
- Rest and relax. These are my two R's. Resting at night is very important, make sure you have a comfortable mattress and a good pillow. Prepare a proper sleep environment. If you are having trouble sleeping try relaxation techniques before bed. This Stanford sleep website has some good tips for sleep. Also, during the day, take time to relax. Life should be enjoyed. - Eat healthy. There are so many sweet fruits and delicious vegetables in this world, start buying more of them. Try something new every week. Here are a few recipe website with some ideas.
